Any ideas when official 09 options revealed?
Im all set to buy an 09 coupe but so far my dealer says they cannot order an 09 coupe until at least a month from now and they have no idea about options, color choices, etc...
I've seen on here about the few changes regarding lemans blue being available but that, from what I understand, is only for the sedan M3. I've not seen anything on changes for the coupe. Who knows what? Im planning on ordering blue on black, premium, heated seats, satelite, ipod, DCT and 19's.

Only thing Im hoping for is Lemans blue and to offer comfort access separate from the technology package. I dont care about nav, dont care about M drive and I plan on doing coilovers so I wont need edc. And Im not paying $3200 for comfort access.....
I doubt anything will change really. Im just curious if anyone knows approximate time frame.

Not happening. Ever. The reasons aren't totally clear but Larry Koch says "No".

He's talking about the dealer ordering system, I believe.

My CA still doesn't have 09 info. He's more than willing to let me order, of course.

I am in the same boat. I am on the "list" of an '09 order with one of the Seattle dealerships and will place the actual order with deposit when more info is available about the '09 E90.
So far, the dealer has not contacted me with actual info concerning the 2009 model year. I am thinking the Sedan will get the updated taillights, the new iDrive (which I will probably forego) and whatever changes from the E90 LCI trickle down to the E90 M3. I too would order Comfort Access if it were an "a la carte" option...

It's nice to see I'm not alone. My CA says I'm at the top of the list for an 09 m3 e90 DCT. I've actually been trying to order since 5/31 without any luck. I am still getting a sort of costco deal as well which will probably be around 1500-2000 of MSRP. Just was wondering what was taking so long with the allocations... a few on other forums have mentioned that they had orders in place with build weeks. I have a feeling that they're in the same boat as all of us. Can't wait to actually see the car in production... but as it stands I don't think we'll be getting it until into late October. Oh well.

Was on the 'list' at my dealer since May for a 2008 DCT sedan with 19". At long last got a production number for a 2009 DCT sedan last week (build is sched for week 37). w00t! So, unless my CA is pulling my leg, the allocations are coming.

Wow, Week 37 starts 9/7--I didn't know they started that early. What about the German vacation month?

Well, not according to Outlook, but maybe BMW has their own calendar?

The factory vacation month is definitely August. The computer and BMW AG can still accept orders during that time, but nothing will go into production or be assigned a chassis number until 1 SEP when the factory reopens...and as we know, everything at that point is 09. I think it is a shame that SEP is less than 60 days out and they still have not published the options. |

I am waiting too. My buddy at the dealer called last night and wanted to know if I was ready to order and I told him I wanted ot see if there is any new color options or small changes first. Gotta make the best out of my 500 over invoice deal!
