DCT Owners: Can you see your shift lights?
No matter what steering wheel/seat position I configure my shift lights (at least the ones further to the right) are always blocked by the steering wheel. Anyone else?
Sorry I know this thread is pretty worthless. Was just wondering.

I can see it, just adjust your seat or your steering wheel better.

Damn. I like having my steering wheel low which is why I can't see them. Haha. Maybe it's too low.

Are the shifter inputs on the front of the wheel? Is that what I see where your thumbs would go? Hmmmm. Looks interesting...
Also, does that wheel have the same functionality (buttons, etc.) of the stock wheel?

yes the front panel (around the air bag) is the same, so the original functions will remain the same. |

I have ordered this. It is compatible with DCT and it has the same functionality as our sport steering wheel. I should have it in a few weeks and I'll put up a video.

Do you always get close to 8400 rpm and have you run it up to the higher rpms really fast? You have to do this before they will light up.

The shift lights warn of approaching redline, if you're not accelerating toward redline, the lights will not illuminate. They also adjust based on how hard you're accelerating. If you are only using half throttle, they will come on at a higher rpm than if you're accelerating at full throttle.
