Looking for an exhaust for the m3 decisions decisions
I just installed my active autowerke downpipes and need a little bit more noise . Do u guys recommend the awe track exhaust? Or do u have any other recommendations for a full exhaust I want a quality one that fits perfectly. Or should I just buy a active autowerke midpipe and keep the stock muffler. I always like stock parts but I see the mpe cracks a lot ... decisions decisions

Do you have the MPE? The MPE is not "stock". Is yours a ZCP? If so, get the AA mid pipes. Cheers! |

Since you already have the AA DPs, just add the mid pipe and lock your valves open. It'll be a lot louder, basically straight piped. At that point you can decide if you want to add a rear section, you can add Remus / Dinan rear sections to AA mid pipe without cutting anything. Bolt on. I did the AA Midpipe w/ Dinan rear at the same time and no cutting was needed.
I think anything mated w/ the AA mid pipe sounds decent, it's what I call rasp killer / unwanted noise smoother. |

I have the AA midpipe + AA axle-back muffler. Great sound but not too loud. If you want louder then either an AA mid + Remus axle-back or the new AA signature exhaust system are good options.

I love the sound of the AWE NR with valves open for normal driving, but it's really nice to be able to close the valves for cold start. Just my 2c. |

On my car I kept stock zcp muffler, 3" dp and 2.5" x pipe that deletes secondary cats and res.
I think it's not too loud but other people beg to differ, here's a link to the tune thread I posted some exhaust clips in. Should be a light rev and a drive by on this page https://www.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...php?p=23631098 |

I have AWE Tuning Non-Resonated Track. Big fan. Sounds loads better on manual cars than on DCT. Massive sound explosions on upshifts under boost. I don’t have burble tuned so not sure how it does with that. It’s not expensive and quality is spot on. Go with 102mm tips for maximum sex. You can get it in resonated and non-resonated. If you get non-resonated, promise everyone you won’t get downpipes because it will be the worst loudest thing on the planet (horrible sound). If you DO want downpipes but sound is a concern, then resonated is your best choice.
