Interlagos Blue or Lemans Blue??
My dealer said that they would have the Lemans Blue available for the 2009
M3. I've seen the Interlagos Blue, but how does it compare to the Lemans? Which do you guys like better? I can't decide and need to place my order. I really wanted bright blue, but it seems that I can't get a special order though BMW individual. Has anyone had any luck with this? Thanks for everyones help. Chris |

Lemans:
Interlagos: Tell me you can see the difference. I can see it, but I do not think it is very significant. Of all the colors to keep at the same time, why Interlagos and Lemans??? |

Last two cars I've owned are blue. Tried to convince my wife to try blue for her next car. When it turned out she wanted an e90 M3 I figured there would be no chance. Probably still no dice with Lemans... oh well I like Melbourne Red also.
In all the pictures I've seen the Lemans looks a bit brighter. The purple for Interlagos is really only under the sun. Both colors look phenomenal. I don't think you could go wrong with either. Lemans would be rare. |

Le Mans definitely - lighter the better as it shows off the lines and bumps of the M3 better plus nice contrast with the c/f roof

Because in North America we do not get the MSport/MTech package, so Lemans blue is not available here at all (heck, neither is a 320i for that matter, but I understand that was just your example). It still does seem a strange choice for a new M3 color though.

And yes, Estoril would be sweet but that color is gone from what we've heard. |

I just saw my first Interlagos Blue M3 a couple of weeks ago. It looks much darker in real life than it does in pictures. And I can see very little difference in the pictures posted. But I do like the color. How many people are going to know that it's a somewhat exclusive color anyway? They're just going to look at it say "yup, that's blue like every other blue".

Yes, the colour palette is rather bland for this M3.
