Post July M4CP
Quick question for anyone who has taken delivery of an M3/M4CP from new since the July regs kicked in (PPF fitment, steel prop shaft). Can you confirm the exhaust still has valves please?
Expecting delivery of mine either first or second week in Oct. BMW Genius cant answer so hoping anyone with a shiny new post-July build car can confirm/deny please. |

Jesus ... I hope it does - I didn’t know this was in doubt! I know that the MPE won’t pass new regs leading to supplies drying up with no BMW replacement.
I have an F82 Comp coming last week of September so will post if you don’t get an answer by then. R. |

Feel quite jammy getting in on a last run of M3CP and got a stock MPE going on. Just missing all WLTP Full noise. Full power. No restrictions like coming in on the 40i engines and MPE to boot yay!

Phew, thanks.
Did a bit more research and looking on ETKBMW (Better version of RealOEM), it shows what I assume is the latest CP exhaust as it shows the ppf fitted and steel drive shaft. It shows it having flaps. I've got mine booked in with Paul at PCW exhausts to get his mod done end of Oct so if there is a degrade in the sound, his work should rectify this. Failing that; Remus here we come! |
