Time for some mods

Hey guys,

I bought a E93 Alpine White M3 in Orange County a couple of months ago and I wanted to say hi and post some picture. It has the fox red leather interior and unfortunately came with the nasty wood trim so I wrapped it in CF wrap which turned out great! The idrive buttons were peeling and in poor condition so I put some buttons covers on them which turned out pretty nice and feel great.

I have a list of mods to do including rims, Dukes CF Trunk, getting rid of the license plate frame in the front, and perhaps some aftermarket LED Angel Eyes because right now the brightness is really odd and inconsistent.

What do you guys think?

Welcome! I dig the high kick spoiler, and I think you need some 359's with 295/30 rears to match it.

How many miles do you have on that west coast beast? Paint looks clean.

It has 70k miles on it. I did a Blackstone oil test and they said I have an excellent engine and everything look great except for a little higher than normal silicone levels. I think this year still has the old rod bearings that will show high lead in the Blackstone oil test.

I am unsure if I am going to do bearings or not. I'm an Software Engineer and the math just doesn't add up. But it sure would let me sleep better at night after hearing all these horror stories.

Are those CF splitters in the front? Did you put them on after your purchase?

I bought it with them already on. there is a crack in each of them so I'm thinking if replacing them with polycarbonate replicas and paint them gloss black to match the kidney grills. I'd save over 6 hundred dollars from BMW performance and have more durable splitters.

I also like the Vorsteiner lip and would love to find a polycarbonate one. 1k for a CF just to crack them seems like a waste. Any suggestions or advice?

Nice combo of colors. Looks like previous owner kept her in perfect shape for you.

Looks good. You never mentioned what year it was, but just a heads up in 2011 and up models the bearings were made with different materials so Blackstone reports don’t really tell you much. Is it me or does the amber reflector in the first pic look photoshopped lol

I haven't added any splitters to my car. yet I am planning on doing it soon. I'll get some CF or gloss black ones on ebay for $200-300. I don't really care for the expensive high quality ones since they will eventually wear from rock chips, cracks ,etc.
