Leather Care in Florida

Interested in what those in hot sunny states (FL, AZ, TX,) do for leather care? What do you use and how often do you use it?
What product does BMW recommend?
We just bought a 2015 X5 with black Dakota leather. We have experienced the shrinking effects on leather and how it becomes hard over years in the sun. We will be keeping this X5 for many years so want to avoid the issue. We already have window tint and will be getting a windshield shade.

For max protection. I hope you got the highest quality ceramic tint. I would do 20% on the front sides and maybe 35 or 50 on roof and rear windows. And 70% on windshield.

For the leather care I use. nextzett Cockpit Premium. It's supposed to block UV rays. And it doesn't leave a greasy or shiny look.

Make sure you use a windshield sun shade ALL the time, except when driving :-) (and close the sunroof shade). Garage storage is also a must if you can.

Does tinting the front windshield affect driving at night? Does anyone know of really good installers who will tint a front windshield in the central coast CA or heck I'd even drive south a bit, I would want someone who does impeccable work since it's the front windshield and you're looking at it 100% of the time while driving.

70% is basically clear. I can't really tell it's there.

I use griots leather care. As long as you keep it moist and block the UV rays you'll be fine. I moisten 1-2x a month in the summer here in VA.

I always use 303 Aerospace Protectant for UV protection. And it could last several months without re-apply it. I’m a lazy guy, so that suits me.....
