Do you mean the Display wheel? If so, no. Coincidently, I've just removed mine from the 435

It does require wiring though which is likely a dealer job unless you're particularly skilled/brave.
It needs linking in to wiring in the passenger foot well (think bmw quote 1.5hrs labour).

Also if you decide to remove it before selling you'll need all the wiring and modules carefully removing as without them the wheel is redundant if you want to sell on as those parts cant be bought separately. Its expensive but a great upgrade

Thats exactly what Im going through now. Took it to dealers on Friday to have it removed and mentioned to make sure all the wiring and boxes removed. Car was in all day. When I picked the car up, all they gave me back was the wheel. I asked where the rest of the wiring was and they assured me there wasnt any. I pushed that there was (I have the OEM BMW fitting doc with all the components listed). Phone call this morning from service dept; 'Err we need your car back in to remove all the wiring'. Smug mode.... And you'll be giving me a very nice courtesy car too?

What a nightmare! Glad you've got them to sort it though.

I've seen no end for sale on ebay without the wiring and modules, feel for anyone who buys one without realising

Yes exactly and am glad I did a bit of research. Would have left me with a very expensive wheel as an ornament and wouldn't have been morally right trying to sell without all the parts.
