600 mile service.....
was driving the car today and it says i need an oil change. car has 600 miles on it. when i look at the service info section of i-drive, the oil change is yellow. i click on the oil change and it says 05/2010, 600 mls-engine oil change due soon. please make an appointment...... i am assuming this was just set wrong at the factory?? my engine oil level is OK. I think i know this was an error at the factory but i wanted to make sure.

I got the same message yesterday, with 700 miles on the car, I am assuming it's referring to the the 1200 miles service which doesn't include an oil change as far as I know... I would call your SA and double check.

It's just an early warning. It should go in when the menu approaches 0.
