Hahaha I laughed so hard when I read this, couldn't stop thinking of Clarkson and his "cock-o-meter" on Top Gear. Unfortunately it's true lots of tools drive M3's. I'm soon to be one of them - tinted windows FTW.

yes in the boot ... on the right hand side under the plastic thingy besides the med kit ... its i think got a logo of a toolkit etched into the plastic

Toolkit in the passenger side of the trunk and the LED flashlight is in the glove box (or at least mine is)

Does anyone know if the flashlight in the convertible is rechargeable via the glovebox? My E46 has this feature, and I'm hoping my E93 M3 does as well. I was reading in another thread that the flashlight mounting, etc. is different based on model. Just want to know what to expect.

Anybody else find the toolkit lacking? Mine has like 3 tools in it, with multiple empty spaces (yes, I realize one slot is for the wheel lock key). My E46 had a better equipped toolkit than the E92.

There are 4 slots, but only mine 2 filled. There is a TSB that says the wrench was taken out of the tool kit. I'm going play dumb and tell the dealership that I didn't get anything

My car only has the puny screwdriver and tow hook in the tool area. Since it has a moonroof, I know at least is missing one tool. My selling dealer (760 miles away) is playing dumb, and servicing dealer says I have to deal with selling dealer. Does anybody have the TSB number, if it indeed exists? Or better yet, does somebody else's moonroof equipped '08 E92 have this tool???

My car does not have the first aid kit, but it's mentioned above US cars don't have it (they should). How about the safety triangle?

And doesn't have the glove box flashlight either, and all '08s should have it. Guess I'm out of luck on that one; not spending $40 for that. Thanks.

Funny, after almost 9 months, I went into the glove box for the first time....and there it was: a spanking new LED flashlight!!
