No scratches Lucid? What's it made of?
Additionally, will the OEM 3-series windshield screen work for the M3? I would like to get the OEM since it fits much more snuggly than the folding circles and cardboard shields.

just got the OEM from Tisher BMW for $169 w/o the chain lock few weeks ago. Now if I can only have the car to put it on I'll be happy.
4 more weeks

It's some kind of synthetic highly water resistant material. I am glad to report it does not scratch. It's called Noah:

I had the OEM sunshade for my E46 M3 and the quality was subpar... it is breaking into pieces as we speak. OTOH, I bought a Covercraft sunshade from autogeek.net for my wife's SUV and that thing looks the same as when I bought it. I ordered a Covercraft for 2008 3 series coupes and have it now, I will be able to remark on the fitment very soon...

I got the oem cover as a gift when I bought my e46 M3 in O3 and still have it. I hope it will fit. The quality of the cover is good, but the only time I really use it is when I go on an extended vacation. It is such a hassle to dry out when it gets wet and I live in Seattle.

What I have does not absorb much water, so it doesn't need to be dried out. But it does trap water, so you need to make sure it is all drained before stashing it in your trunk.

The "3 series coupe" Covercraft sunshade fits like a glove. Almost a touch too big... almost . I know the quality is better than OEM.
