How Often Do You Redline?
For the ones that have broken in their cars and has the privilege to shift at redline, how often do you guys do it?
I do it just about everytime I drive, whenever there is a nice open opportunity I will push it, I need to hear the marvelous sound of the engine at 8400 RPMs.

I think you should have an option that reads something like, "whenever road/traffic conditions allow it". A wide open onramp is an opportunity no M3 should turn down!

Not often enough, but when I do, I'm amazed at the power!

Not in a few weeks. I do it when there's a need to wind it out.

Whenever I get a chance, but that isn't too often. I shift more around 7k than redline.

I am redlining right now.
Should have gone for the C63 if that is the case.

Redlining in all but 1st gear is in ticket territory. Perhaps I don't drive the interstate enough, but around where I do most of my driving there isn't a good place to wind it out.

Just yesterday. Came home from my 1200 service and redlined on 1st gear 5 times. What a HUGE difference in the sound of the car near redline. It sounds a lot meaner. I haven't listened to music in my car for days.

Ehh, it was the same with my 325. I just love hearing the engine, the speed is a good side benefit.

Absolutely love onramps! Always funny to see cars at speed(60 or 70 mph) on the highway; and the next minute, you're already passing them.
