Recommendation for track tyres

I'm looking for guidance or recommendations for a set of track tyres and wheels for my 2016 M4 CP

I really I want a new set of wheels with dedicated track tyres but I'm struggling to find many options. If anyone has found a solution or can recommend anyone to assist I would appreciate your help.

I've looked at a new set of BBS wheels and using Pilot Cup 2 tyres but there's no equivalent front tyre size unless you use a 19" wheel, which BBS don't recommend! I'm realising why the GTS has different sized wheels - it's the only way to get the tyres to fit - but I would rather avoid paying £7k for a set of GTS wheels.

I havd also considered the Toyo R888R but faced the same challenge on sizes.

My only option right now is a new set of 20" wheels with Pilot 4S which are sized the same as the original PSS tyres but the comments on the tyre performance have been mixed.

I'm sure I'm not the first person to face this dilemma so any advice would be welcome.

My only must have is that the tyres need to be road legal so i can change the wheels at home and drive to the track.

My MPSS on the 666s worked a treat.

Are you looking at multiple trackdays or just the occasional day?

I'm planning on multiple track days. Having seen the state of my MPSS after the last one I need to do this properly!

Get a set of 763m (19"FR 20"R) with PSC2 tyres around 3k for a set, Cotswold BMW were around that price.

The PSC2 tyres are a great improvement, but you can still trigger the TC if you try hard enough!

Get some Apex wheels in 18” and some proper tyres. Tyres are cheaper and a much bigger choice.

That’s what I’ll probably do eventually on my M3.
