Looking to buy my first M3

Hi all,

I am looking to get my first F80 M3. I will be looking for an approved used.
I was wondering what to look out for and what options are must haves and what arnt.
Also your opinion on the m perf exhaust over a Remus or milltek.

Cheers

Spec is a personal think but I like:

Full leather
HUD
HK

The M Performance exhausts are know to crack so watch out for that. At their price (£3k+) I think that's inexcusable.

The Remus sounds fantastic but the PCW exhaust mod (take a look on eBay) is very nice too - mines booked in for this shortly.

Im considering this please pop some clips after pal.

Spec is key, but just make sure major service is done if mileage 35-36k or its an easy grand if you buy one with that approaching.

Warrantied car is ideal.

Get all the history jotted down. Its not always on idrive, i called the service hotline then chased garages up on what was carried out.

If mileages dont stack up dont buy, as there are cars with mileage blockers about (which i had found out to my cost with an F10 M5).

Hope that helps, also M3 is a great choice. Flaring Rear arches really help the car look menacing.

Rav

Question is really budget and financing options available? Then you can work out what’s going to fit your bill.
