Order placed for an Atlantis Blue M3 ZCP =)

Coming from a long line of BMW's, and currently parting out my F10 550i, I finally placed an order last week for an 18 M3 6MT

Specs:
Atlantis Metallic
Sakhir Orange/Black Full Merino Leather
Competition Package with Black Star Spoke wheels
Driving Assistance Package
Executive Package
Active Blind Spot Detection

I am beyond excited and can't wait!

It reads Status 112 as of today. What's my timeline after this?

Get the production week from your CA, then you have better idea when it'll be finish.
The longest part is >30-day in Atlantic through Panama canal for us in the West-Coast. Then another week from Oxnard to your dealer, custom, emission etc.

My car was done on Jan 6th, sitting at Beremerhaven port since Jan 9th, then got onto Liberty ship on the 15th of Jan. Didn't arrived at Oxnard until Feb 15th. Just to see what kinda of timing you are looking.

Maybe we will be production buddies...I'm on east coast so prolly not boat buddies.

Thanks! I've been told my production date is week 13 but if I am already status 112 it seems like it may be ahead of schedule?

I was told last week that my tentative production week (Atlantis M3) is 15, and someone else I know who ordered Atlantis was told 14, but neither of us are status 112 yet. From what I read on this forum, they try to group individual color cars together so that they can paint in batches.

I’ve got 17 Atlantis blue on golden brown 6spd zcp in South Carolina. Where you located on east coast? Ever do any bmw CCA stuff?

Maryland, we do go down to OBX at least once a year though

We were sorta active around 2010 or so with the 335i but we're more active with the SCCA and now PCA Chesapeake.

My M3 appears to be on a similar timeline to you. It was originally scheduled for production week 13. It officially finished production on 4/4, and appears to be at the same step as yours. Although, BMW Genius updates have been behind by more than a few days. Mine is shipping to NYC. Maybe we’ll be on the same ship. I’m hoping I’m on a ship by the end of next week sometime.

I took delivery of mine just under a month after it finished production, but I’m on the east coast.

My Atlantis M3 is scheduled to finish production 4/10, and another Atlantis from someone I know in CA who ordered around the same time I did just finished production a couple of days ago. They try and group individual paint together for production runs.

Sometimes they sit for a while after production is complete before getting on a train to the port.
