Sport Display Power Level

For all of you that have your F8x's tuned, is the iDrive Sport Display Power correlating to the stated tuned parameters?

My German tuner never re-calibrated the Sports Display, as I'm wondering what is correlating as my torque value is maxing out at 400 lb-ft despite the tuner claiming a 500 lb-ft flash bench tune. Regarding power I have pined 480 hp, but tune was suppose to be 550 hp. The Eventuri carbon air take hasn't been installed which is the last mod for the Stage II tune.

I know that I will have eventually dyno the vehicle to answer this question. With OBDII available, I won't be flash tuning again during ED as I can't have the tuner re-bench flash as I would have to remove the ECU and ship back to Germany.

You can have a competent tuner add it to your current tune.. or get a new tune that does it.

I have read "HP is calculated not measured". My guess is that the idrive can't calculate your HP because the torque can't be fully measured.

Have all the tools need to find these values as well. Anyone know where they are located? Mine show 480/480 both pegged easily with MHD stage 2

It's just bells and whistles. There is no way that is anything near actual.

Its all pre-programmed.. Its not a live measure.

Mike

It is a live measurement, based on load and airflow calculations.

I think what you're trying to say is that it's "simulated", rather than
and actual measurement of physical torque (as measured on a dyno).

When calibrated properly you can choose the high/low values that
are displayed on the digital gauges, and the calculated values will
be fairly accurate.*

*NOTE: This will NOT offer the accuracy of a proper dyno measurement,
or that of GPS enabled accelerometers which measure based on velocity,
but it's a novel feature nonetheless.

It's just a number you type in to the flash tuning table. Means nothing at all.

I think mine reads up to 640? I'm definitely not getting 640!
