763 M Performance wheels and cup 2 correct road pressures?

Picked up a set of 763 wheels for my M4 on a cracking end of year deal today from Lloyd’s in Newcastle.

They look amazing on a mineral white car. The photos just don’t do them justice at all.

My question is on correct tyre pressures for Cup 2s? The dealership set them at 3.3 bar cold or 47 psi which seems very high and caused quite a rough ride.

Ive reset them to 36 psi which feels about right given the cold conditions but just wondered if these tyres need to be run at a higher pressure on the m4 for any reason?

This is what I use.

Run manufacturer's recommended pressures for street and see attached for track.

You'll need to adjust track pressures based on hot pressure and feel.

I think they come from the factory like that. Mine were a joke too when fitted first. You’d think the dealer would check the tyre pressures! 32 all round for me.

I agree I think they had just been fitted. BMW probably inflate them to 50 for transporting them

I’ve taken a few in the car park but photos don’t really do them justice as they are a very 3 dimensional wheel and the photos flatten them out. The colour is a satin black, lovely.

I will try to get some better pictures in daylight tomorrow. Got to be careful though as I’ve not exactly told the wife about buying them.....I figured switching one black wheel for another on the darkest day of the year is very close to the perfect crime.......neither her or the kids have noticed yet......

In my experience it’s always easier to beg forgiveness than ask permission
