F80 BBS SR Winter Tire Setup

For reference. They are awesome. The ZCP summer tires were hard plastic on the cold pavement. 18x8 BBS SR Antracite. 245/45R-18 MICHELIN X-ICE XI3 XL Tires. Total cost with shipping $2203.

BBS SRs look great as does the champagne quartz! Very jealous. I took the plunge on oem 640M winter wheel package. I paid $2216 total from dealer hard to pass up.
This was my second choice, had BBS SRs with Nokians planned but went with BMW since price was good.

Now I’m having doubts on my choice... nice that you will able to rotate with this setup too! Congrats on beautiful new car and wheels!

Nice. I was looking at the same set but different tires. How's the drive and fit? Any rubbing?

No rubbing or anything like that. Fits well and no clearance issues. Drove 110mph on autobahn in rain no problem lol and plenty of traction in snow conditions.

Thanks. They don't look too bad either but I can't wait until Spring to put back on my 666M wheels haha.

Yes. The ride bit smoother with 18. I can’t wit to try bigger tires on 666m. 275/30/20 295/30/20 more grip nd sidewall!!

Have seen you around base a few times. Didn't think I'd find it parked where this photo is taken. Good on you bro!

Wow, nice! I've seen yours around as well. We should definitely get together in Spring/Summer for the Cars & Coffee, etc! I saw another M3 (gray?) this afternoon rolling around.

Yeah, there are a few. Some people only drive theirs in the summer months. I got mine to drive so it's my daily. I've been in a bit of a bicycle addiction since buying the car so I have tried to sell it. The wife's 1-series has the bike rack and she doesn't mind driving the M. It works.
