Alignment question
I have a 2016 M4 with about 11000 miles on it. My front right tire blew today and the BMW dealer that usually services my vehicle inspected the other tires as well and recommended changing all of them. He is getting me into Continental all season tires for around $1200. He is also recommending a wheel alignment @$480 because he says that my current tires had some ’unusual wear’ and that BMW recommends an alignment every year.
My question: Should I proceed with the alignment and is the price he is quoting reasonable? He mentioned that the alignment that the dealership does is BMW specific and includes some part replacement as well as a standard service. Thank you! |

$480 is an absurd price for an alignment. I'm not sure the dealership uses an alignment machine any different than the one at your local tire shop which prob charges $100 or less.

Yeah that price is ridiculous, only thing different they do is put sand bags on the car during alignment. Don't think it matters
