HELP: 763M replica?s

Hey guys,

I would like to know what do you think about replica wheels. I saw someone selling 763m 19" replicas for around 600?.

As the real ones are too expensive for me, should I go for replicas or those wheels are too fragile/easily breakable or could harm my car or even myself due to wheel crack?

I have had two sets a replicas. I never worried about them cracking and I drive some pretty rough roads.

My latest set from my M5, which I just put on my F80, had its clear coat fail and looked like the wheels rusted. I just had them powder coated and they look great again

The main appeal in the 763M resides in their relative low weight, strength and forged construction. You will not get that with replica wheels. There are far better options out there.

Even if I mostly drive in city with rough roads? And I have a quite aggressive driving style..

For the color ill just paint them again

Tbh I dont really care about those details such as weight etc. All I want to know is if I drive fast, in an agressive way, will they crack or could damage my car somehow?
I just love the design

Danidanio Have you eventually bought those replicas? I'm considering the same design and have the same worries (structural stenght of the wheel).

You should take a look at Richland Forged GT4. Style is based on the GT4 which is sort of the predecessor of the 763M. Light, forged alloy and looks great. PM them for a member discount too.

Google images of replica wheels that exploded after driving over a pot hole. Some of the replicas are not properly cast and can literally shatter and cause a potential accident.

It's obviously personal choice but keep that in mind if you choose to go with reps.
