Black 763M wheels on M4 ZCP Mineral Grey Standard Suspension

Does anyone have any pictures to show the above?

Interested to see how it looks before a purchase.

Would an M3 do?

I have them and they don’t look great tbh. They are being powder coated at the moment to a different colour.

This last one gives you a good idea why I don’t think they work well.

Agreed mechanic. I much prefer silver wheels, especially on darker colored cars.

I also agree. I think BMW should have made the 763M the same colour as the 513M wheels, they would have looked great.

I think they offer the CS wheels at £2000 more than the black version. Same wheel. That's expensive silver paint!!

The CS 763M wheels are not Silver, they are Orbit Grey (which is still rather dark).

The M-Performance 763M wheels can now be had in a new "pale gold" finish, maybe that is what you are referring to.

My apologies. Yes, the CS wheels appear to be darker than silver. Think you are right on the exact colour. Better option to get the black and have refinished I guess.

From the images available I'm not sure if a black wheel for my mineral grey M4 is right or not. Might be too dark but I think my desire for the 763 is driven by the Cup 2 tyre rather than the wheel. Really want to see what options are available for sizes of cup 2 tyres for the 666 wheels. Maybe that is my answer.

Buy the wheels and budget some to get them refinished.

Guess I would disagree with this perspective ! - personally very bright wheels offer too harsh a contrast for me but indeed subjective and more than likely biased to my current choice. Wheel design is a key factor w.r.t. silver/light vs black/dark color choices - the various curves and light drops associated with different wheel designs can greatly influence the final look. Personally very happy with my dark BC Forged wheels

PS: Did seem to like the 763M when they were first shown but agree that your pics of them installed seem a bit underwhelming - not sure what it is - maybe the low concavity or perhaps the spoke thickness or something ....

I repainted the black M763 in Orbit Grey and saved some bucks.

This looks very nice indeed. They should have offered the 763M in that colour from the get go.

Different wheel. But I like this color combo (obviously). BC wheels were originally brushed black. While having curb rash repaired had them powder coated in ultra charcoal.

Thanks for posting, looks beautiful and they should always come with this option. Look forward to see pictures of the whole set in your car.
