Green injectors fitment on S65 (E85 on SC Aplic.)

So I got the Green Giants Injectors to upgrade from blue so I can run more % of Ethanol on my ESS 650 kit but I can't get the fuel rail to sit Al the way down

Has anybody here done green injectors on their car? in can't find any info on this issue.

thanks.

Here is how the green bosch injectors look like that came with my VF kit.

I think the metal part is machined down, how does it compare with the green injectors you are trying to install?

You have to run a small spacer for the rail. Active auto used those as full length with out machining and run a larger spacer.

That is another option but I have not seen how the active Autowerks S/C intake manifold sits on the runer boots but with ESS if you raise the fuel rails the runer boots will be hard to tighten as u will have clearance issues between the fuel rail and the bolt on the clamp.

for some reasons I can't attache the pic of how the injectors come but all you have to do to get the rail all the down is to remove the white washer from the tip and get a oring that fits snog in the injector inlet on the s65's head, tomorrow I will post my progress on this.

thanks to JsL for posting the pic you Rock.
and To proper style for the spacer tip.

Full length meaning no machining what's so ever.

their you go with ESS you have to use stock runner boots with suck buy the way and active according to this pic you have no clearance issues for tightening.

with ESS manifolds it's to dam close but it did at the with exactly 5mm spacer.

I'm using this setup on my ESS kit. its not really that big of a deal tightening the clamps. I've been running this way for like 4 months. I've had to take the blower off a few times to check or change things.
