Has anyone tried Torco Oil ??

Has anyone tried Torco SR-1R or TR-1R oil for s55 yet ?

The OEM (pennzoil) oil is not keeping up after 2k miles on high boost with E85 fuel :

What do you mean by "not keeping up"? Are you seeing accelerated engine wear? Have you done any UOA's?

Got ya. I am not familiar with Torco oil but perhaps you can try a slightly heavier LL-01 weight like a 5w40 (I think Motul has one, probably others too) and see if the oil burning subsides.

I am very familiar. In motorsports there are a few big names in each respective area. Penske or ohlins in suspension, and torco as one of top 2 or 3 producers of true synthetic. They are,100 percent group 4 and 5. Only a couple other oils do this.

Specifically I've used a couple types on my e92 m3 which I track and street.

However the one worth using is their sr5. At 20 bucks a quart it's pricey but simply the best protection and performance possible

I'd pay $40 per quart if it was the best product for my engine. Know what I mean. Its cheaper then repairing your motor using a poor products.
And the service interval from manufactures are wayyy to long. That needs to be cut in half was well.

Thanks! I thought Redline would be on that list too. The 5w-30/5w-40 has a pretty strong additive package according to Bobistheoilguy forums.
