Tire Width Questions F82 M4

Morning all.

With these particular wheel sizes and offsets, would the stock front and/or rear tires stretch or would it fit perfectly? Also, what would be the maximum width I can go on both front and rear wheels without causing rubbing issues? FYI, I will be lowered on Macht Schnell competition springs.

Here are the wheel specs and so forth:

20x9.5 ET +17mm
20x11 ET +34mm

Tires: 265/30/20 fronts, 285/30/20 rears. Stock Michelin PSS off the competition package 20" wheels.

Any input would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

285/30 on a 11" you gonna have a decent stretch...

Thanks for your input. So I'm guessing at least a 295/30/20. Do you think I can do 305/30/20 without rubbing on the rears with the drop?

+34 will be close, but you'll be fine with camber; not a preferable option at all.

It also depends on how low you want to go... You'll probably be better off with a 295.

Thanks Vectors2final!

I will be lowered approximately 0.75" in the rears. So you suggest going with 295/30/20 in this case??

It depends on what you're comfortable with. The F8x is somewhat "forgiving", but it really depends on what you're comfortable with.

Get into these other threads and compare other setups with your same offsets and potential tire sizes with the suspension dialed in. Most of the questions will answer themselves in those threads.

305 won't fit with et34

295/30 should fit, since 285 et25 fit without any additional camber. Always depends on the tire brand.
