Whine when turning
I've noticed a high pitch whine while making a tight off-camber down-hill left turn on two separate occasions now. I think I also heard it while making the turn in the opposite direction (i.e. tight right hand off-camber up-hill turn), but it was quite faint. The sound was very audible when turning left.
Think I am gonna have to take it to the dealer and have them check it out. |

If I heard that, I'd just tell my spouse to be quiet, I'm not cornering too hard.

lol @ Skier!
Truth be told I've got two different sounds...the groan is one, but the other is almost like a brake squeal when making a tight left turn. Just took the car in to the dealership to have the alignment checked again, will only know whether that's made any difference after I get to make a tight left turn (precious few of those in a RHD country!), though I don't see the connection between alignment and the sound. |
