Just purchased '13 X5m

Just wanted to thank the crew here for all the great posts and all the information provided.. I was all set on a 2012 Cayenne TT (CPO) then I started looking at the X5m's. Intrigued, I was let down when I found out that I couldn't find a BMW CPO so I started looking at CarMax and saw the Black(which was really Navy Blue) and passed. I was ready to move on when a sales associate from CarMax called and said they got in a 2013 Black/Black and I needed to get my butt in there and claim it. Needless to say I grabbed it with the 5 yr 125k warranty.

Thanks again for all the great posts and I'll post some photos tomorrow(I pick it up at 11am)

Wow thats a great warranty period. The 125k im assuming is from the start of the current mileage? Or is it 125k miles that you put on the car?

The 125k is 'total' miles... so it's roughly a 75k mile warranty over the next 5 years.

We?ll even then that?s still great. Way better then the warranty bmw supplies.

OP, THANK YOU for posting this info... I'm in a similar situation looking and I have been disappointed by the warranty options presented by BMW... please share a bit more detail on warranty if you are willing.

Most likely it's the CarMax branded warranty that they offer with the purchase. OP, come on over to the E70 X5M forum and share your story and some pics!
