Hey guys I'm new to the forums. I just picked up a 2016 m4. I'm replacing the stock rims and tires with:
Vorsteiner 19x9.5 m275/30/r19 front 19x10.5 305/30/r19 rear The bmw TPMS are included Do I need to do anything further for accurate speedometer readings? Thanks |

While I'm not quite sure what you mean by "odometer readings", I think you should be more concerned about other things like rubbing and general fitment.
What Vorsteiner wheels did you get? What are the offsets? What suspension are you running? What tyres do you intend on using? If by odometer readings you mean the actual mileage you're getting, that really shouldn't be an issue. If anything, you should be worried about having rubbing issues up front if you're getting 275/35/19 MPSS (Michelin Pilot Super Sports) on certain suspension setups.

There are a couple sites out there where you can compare tire sizes, but here is one I use https://tiresize.com/calculator/
This particular site will show the difference in RPM's. Long story short, if the circumference is not the same as the stock tire, then yes the speedometer will read slighty different than it did at stock. That said, my BMW's have always been a few miles an hour off stock. I usually double check with a gps based speedometer (on my iPhone) to get my actual speed (current car is 2 mph off).
