MY2018 M4 Individual lease figures. What do ya think?

Hey fellas;

My car is sitting at the port and should be here soon enough, finally got the dealership to work numbers out with me.

I'll just give you the 15k lease since its more than likely the option I'd take regardless of the deal. What do you think?

Sticker: $88235
Discount: $4564.95
Rebate: $2000
Purchase price: $81,670.05
Doc fee: $649
Tax: $176.51
Non tax fee: $200
Net price: $82,762.06

Based upon a 36 month lease/15k miles a year
Money factor: .00151

Zero out of pocket
Payment: $1319.00 including taxes at 6.5%

I think it could be a little lower but I optioned the car perfectly to my wants and I am sure that is taking a bit of precedence over my deal.

A little bit higher than my 18 m4. My msrp is 92100. With 2100 down, payment is ~1216 with 8.75 tax. Detail I will post it later. Paperwork not with me

Net price is $1000 over invoice including all fees. The rest you can calculate from your own numbers if this is a good deal or not.

Interesting that you ordered a car and only when it is already at the port is when pricing is worked out.

I agree with you about that.

That's a big payment. Not sure I could sleep at night! I'm debating on putting 20k down (financing) just so I can have a sub 1k/mo payment.

I'd rather have the $20k... God forbid anything happened to the car and it didn't endure the lease term. I've never put down a penny on over 20 leases for that very reason.

I would just lease a less expensive car if not comfortable with the monthly payment. Like states, not generally a good idea to put down a large down payment (or any at all) on a lease.

The person you quoted was talking about financing, not leasing. Since you are a leasing veteran (I would assume, since you mention you have leased over 20 cars), do you normally only "negotiate" on an ordered car when it arrives, and not before you decide to order it? That puts one in a somewhat weak position when negotiating price, dont you think?

Leasing - I'm with you. Zero down. Financing... different story

Here is all the info, sorry phone pic is not clear but it is 1263 with tax, 2101 down, 10k 36mo. no MSD. MSRP 92110, agree price 84481 + 2495 Lease Protection.
if change down 2101/36 + 1263, gives me total 1322 per mo. it is close to your deal but i have lease protection, msrp a bit higher. but only 10k per yr

I totally agree. I honestly didn't think BMW would build it lol. And it was very hard to neg. since it wasn't until the car hit a certain phase of the build until I got the actually MSRP. That being said I should have been more proactive regarding it.
