the question doesn't make sense. if it can be installed, it can be uninstalled. you can pretty easily make bolt in oem catalysts and "test" pipes that could be swapped easily.

Thanks - the reason I asked was that I looked at the installation instructions for several x-pipes and they mentioned "cutting." So I guess I should have said bolt on and reversible

all xpipes are generally bolt in.
"test" pipes require cutting and welding. if you're going do do this, i'd recommend having the fab guy make your oem catalysts able to bolt back in. a few header/pipe combos like american racing headers and bimmerworld need their own specific xpipes. akrapovic will fit any car, but since it is generally paired with their matching rear section, they don't have the bulb style rear couplings that are used, they use a traditional slip-in clamp style.
