ghetto rig a cf spoiler??

some have stated that a cf spoiler off ebay will need some finessing..
how much customization is necessary??
I don't mind some tweaking but if I have to chop it up id rather spend the extra 150$

mind you, the prob is that I have a vert and supposibly the e88 coupe and the e82 coupe spoiler wont direct fit on the vert..
some guy on ebay responded that the trunk on the vert is rounded due to the compartment for the top??? that didn't make sense..
anyway any insignt and a link to the one you currently own for your vert would be greatly appreciated..
Im interested in a cf.. spoiler nation doesn't do cf .. they just match your color code or send one primed.. ;(

How much is the one on eBay? Depending on price, I would just get a reputable one from the numerous websites that sell their own or the BMW Performance version. It is worth the $40, $60, $100 more to have a quality product that you don't have to worry about imo.

well.. they range from 50 dollars unpainted to 130 for the cf..
spoiler nation sells theirs matched to the paint of my car for 260..

the $130 CF is good to go, I put mine on with no fitment issues. The one i got was on ebay but it was in stock in Cali.

It's $280 here in Toronto Canada, after getting it from a Chinese performance shop. They seem to be the cheapest, but I've heard nothing but good for the fitment issues. I did stop another 135 while driving and asked him about mods, he said ebay CF spoiler and JB4 but this was a while ago. It looked very nice and didn't have any issues. Read up on the ebay reviews from the seller, it's usually a good indication of the product and the seller.

I got a CF spoiler from a guy who bought it off of eBay and threw it on my Vert with no fitment issues. I mean, you could get super nitpicky with it on the outer edges but it looks fine to me.

mines an ebay spoiler i bought it off an app where people sell used stuff for 60 bucks its a carbon version and fit perfect even on the edges i cut 3m tape to fit the edges and it came out beautiful and has stayed that way for the 4 months thats its been on
