On a side note, my son told me the guy that invented this didn't apply for a patent. Knock-offs are everywhere. Darn fool could have retired by now if he'd had the foresight to protect his intellectual property!

It was a woman. She tried to sell the idea to hasbro and they wouldn't bite her patent expired a few years ago now here we are. She had said that she doesn't care that they are big now and she isn't making money off of them, she's just happy her idea is being put to use.

OP, why would we care about these little spinners anyway, just because someone slapped a BMW logo on?
