Hey no worries....but if u run 19s...i think u will find the fender to tire gap more pronounced given the reduced tire wall...i know it's the same gap but given the smaller tire wall...it just looks more jacked up even though it's not. My original plan was to stay on stock suspension but that gap killed the look of the car...hence the switch to the coils...just try out 19s if you can b4 you buy in case you find out they are not for you...then you are not stuck with them.

Cheers

Also you need to be able to calculate offset of the 19" wheels you want to run as offset will dictate whether you rub or not. Rubbing has not allot to do with lowering a car or not but how much a new wheel set up pulls the wheel/tire closer to the shock in the fender or pushes it out or "pokes" out.

Google "wheel offset calculator"...you should find a link by 1010 tires that allows you to run this calculation. Our cars have a factory 49 front offset on the 18 x 7.5" and a 52 offset on the rear 18 x 8.5.

You then input the factory front wheels specs and the new 19" wheel specs into the calculator and u see the difference. Same for the rear...if the calculator shows a negative number...your new set up is pulling the wheel closer to the shock. If positive...pushes it outward into the fender. The number is in millimeters....keep in mind about 10 millimeters you can get away without rubbing the fender or the shock....but without doing this calculation...its impossible to say if or not a specific wheel you like will not rub the fender or the shock.

Hope this helps....and if you already know this then please disregard this post.

Cheers

I'm running:

235/35/19x8.5 45 offset
265/30/19x9.5 50 offset

Stock suspension, rear fenders are rolled. Rubs front liners on really hard bumps.

Damn...my reply to how to properly ghetto measure a wheel....im banging away on a Samsung S8....shit...long story short...a 7" wide wheel will ghetto measure about 8" wide as there is some part of the wheel you need to discount from the measurement. Just don't ghetto measure anything....and don't use your wheels as a baseline either. Use the factory 18" wheels the car came with as a baseline...go to the 1010tires link...put in the calculations...remember the +/- 10mm offset rule....+/-15mm if u feel like rolling rear fenders and you will be ok on the stock wide tire sizes.

Keep in mind this is my 0.02 cents but its also based on about 20 years of personal experience...some of it painful as I didn't know them what I know now
