Arrgh, Active Sound is Back!

Had it coded off for the past 18 months. Went in for some work and I guess I got a software upgrade and it reset the coding. Now active sound is back in my car (for now).

So here's the information for those of you that haven't gotten rid of active sound yet. IT COMPLETELY SUCKS! I forgot how bad it was after driving for so long without it until it came back. I really do believe much of the complaining about the F8X's sound is because of the crap active sound module.

What's the point? If you haven't done so already - get rid of it. I'll be doing the "unplug the module" mod next time. I don't want it ever coming back.

I completely agree, I had it physically disconnected on Day 1. That's one of the worst features BMW engineeres could come up with.
