DIY: brake caliper dust boot seating tool
I thought of this the other night, around midnight, after having lost my battle with rebuilding M3 calipers that I was swapping into my 135 (along with all suspension bits and entire rear subframe. It's going to be a 1M wannabe).
I used my son's 3-D printer to make this sleeve for pressing in the dust boots.

I have the rear calipers awaiting rebuild but now I know what I need to have ready ahead of time. Just need measurements for the rear.
I already made changes to the front piece: made round, smooth internal surfaces and shortened the height by about 30%. The original piece took about 2.5 hours to print so downsizing will help the print time quite a bit.
