Socket Size?

I'm finally getting around to replacing the front reflectors and need to take off my front wheels. I previously purchased the ECS Socket Kit (17mm, 19mm, 21mm) https://www.ecstuning.com/b-schwaben...es/pps-1721lc/, and decided to check out the fit this evening. While I assume the 17mm is the proper size for the X5M (stock 21" wheel), it seems to have a small amount of play. I realize it doesn't need to be super-snug, but it just seems a bit much. Is the 17mm correct? Thanks.

17mm is correct.
Cheap branded tools will have more play.
