Help!!!!!! I'm rubbing in the front with new wheels

I recently got 19" wheels on my 135i and currently have eibach lowering springs and am rubbing just in the front when sharp turning or cornering. After trying different things I came to the conclusion that the best thing would be to reinstall my OEM springs and after trying that it was close to impossible to get them back on. So Im stuck..... rolling the fenders probably wouldn't be enough and i need a way to make the car higher. I was thinking coil overs but have heard that coil overs on their highest setting might not be enough. Does anyone know of any coil overs that have higher ride heights than others or can be adjusted higher than other ones. Or have any kind of advice??

Post specs of the wheels

Putting ill-fitting wheels on and raising the ride height is just plain wrong

Just get 18" wheels and you'll be fine... 19's rub on these cars.

Some are fine with 19"; it's not about the rim height but the offset.

Who knows what the OP bought? The fact that he didn't post the specs indicates he probably has no idea...

+1 for posting the specs on the wheels. To make 19's fit, you'll need correct offset(s), play with height, camber, fender rolling.

Holy hell. You're going about this in a very silly manner. Get wheels that fit. Or get camber plates and lean the wheels in a bit. Stock, the 1 series has very minimal camber. Or roll your fenders, or do both. Don't over think this.

Others saying 19s don't fit, that's silly. You can still have the same circumference as the 18" setups. This is all about offsets and widths. Has nothing to do with wheel diameter.

The wheels aren't the problem they are VMR wheels 19x8.5 front ET45 and 19x9.5 rear ET57. My question was strictly suspension... I'm not going to get 18 wheels or change the width of my tires. I know what can fix the problem I was just curious what other options there may be.

I'm also running VMR 810's (ET 45 & 58), and Eibach springs. No rubbing at all, but for now I'm only running the stock 215 & 245's.

What size tires are you running?

I think i'm going to try camber plates. I don't really have much experience with them... does anyone have any suggestions on which ones are the best for a car that won't be tracked just used as a canyon car.

Why don't you just dump the 235's and go back to 225's? Sounds like a much cheaper and easier solution....

Do you have the camber set all the way negitive already? In case you didn't know you can remove the alignment pin on the top of the strut, loosen the three nuts and push the strut in to get probably a half a degree more negitive camber... maybe would be enough?

Ni problem, don't forget you need an alignment afterwards as well since the toe in the front will be pushed negitive quite a bit

Just get the Dinan fixed ones. That is what I use, and I run 245's in the front with zero rubbing. But I did not do something silly like run 19's.

It will be a larger outside diameter, unless he is running 20 series tires. His 235/35/19 is almost a full inch larger in diameter than stock, or my 245/35/18's. Of course it makes a difference.

I didn't see this. Yeah your tires are an issue. Needs a lower side profile to fit properly. You may always rub just because the tire could touch the inner wheel well itself in compression. What sort of bump stops are you running?
