Decent Protection
Hi guys, after the harsh winter here in Manitoba, Canada, my beast's windshield left a lot of rock/stone/sand chip spots. Mostly on the driver's side and I don't know why.
These spots are not horribly bad that need repair, but they are just there a little annoying, just a bunch tiny white dots. Is there a way to make them less visible? like a glass polish? On a side note, how do you guys protect your windshield in general? |

I would imagine the front of your car has the same small chips as the windshield, unfortunately it is par for the course in areas that use sand, gravel on roads in winter.

Yup, thats right. Here they use a lot of sand to melt the ice on the road. However, there are a lot of fucking pickups on the road don't have the rear mud pads on, they just do whatever they want. It is their time to shine in winter

Check your insurance if thats covered. I've heard from friends in Toronto that rock chips cracks or anything to the windshield is very common and that their insurance companies will cover to get the windshield replaced with out having their insurance go up although you'd have to pay your deductible. Its worth looking into.
