Any idea on Mid pipe for Akra Slip-on Exhaust?

Hi everybody,

I am looking for something that could make Akra Slip-on a little louder. As Akra no long offer mid pipe and DPs, any idea on alternatives?

Will Eisenmann mid-pipe perfectly fit Akra Slip-on? Non resonated or resonated? I am also open to DPs with ECU tuning, any advise? For tuning, JB4 or Dinan? Is gintani DP a good choice?

BTW, I heard from a dealer that Akra is still negotiating, and they could continue to sell mid pipes and DPs in the future. Is that true?

Thanks for your help, appreciate!

I'm in the same boat as you. I've heard the Eisenmann midpipe bolts right up, but I think the price is egregiously expensive ($2000+). Others have made the AA midpipe work by fabricating an extension to lengthen it (guessing $900-1300 all-in depending if you can source a used AA).

I might just have a muffler shop replace the secondary cats with straight pipes, making it similar to Akra's design where they use a resonator but remove the cats.

You can still get Akra's Evolution midpipes but you have to order it directly from Europe. Which means it costs more than normally because of the shipping.

How do I know? I did that :P

I personally would try really shove anything but Akra with Akra, that is just a personal preference though.

I can tell you my contact but they are in LA so.

Check your PMs.

Honestly any of the more well known vendors on the forums here CAN get you these midpipes but they just really do not want to admit to it on the forums cuz they "technically" cannot. I'm sure of this.
