Instrument panel backlight uniformity

Hello to all,

Im Chris and this is my first post.

I received my Bmw M4 a month ago. Car is really great and Im very happy with it.
I have only one small problem. The backlight of speedometer is not completely uniform. Last digit ( in my case 330 km/h ) is a bit darker than the rest. Its only visible when there is dark outside.
Dealer told my that this is normal due to construction of instrument panel.
Can somebody confirm that in all F80/82 last digit of speedometer is always darker due to uneven backlight?
