Long Time Lurker, finally looking into getting my M3.

I remember joining the forums back when BMW was still doing the Driver For Cancer events and the last year they stopped they brought out an 2008 M3 before it even hit the showroom. Fell in love with the car but at that point financially was not right for me.

After many years and many daily drivers I think I'm at the point where I can afford an M3 and its cost of ownership (hopefully) and for the last month I've been researching up and down on what to look for.

Still looking for a buyer for my Audi Wagon I finally got the news i wanted to hear late last night. So I'm going full speed ahead on searching for that M3 all over the internet. Pretty much a 2011 Sedan DCT Navi Less than 70k Miles. 2 are on my list so far. Waiting and having patience are not my strong foots, but soon I'll be an owner. Just making my introduction to keep me motivated.

Pics of my two toys to add color to this post

Ooo that s2k, beautiful. Sold my original 2000 ITR a few years back. Regret it almost daily. Love my M, but there is something so special about those early 2000 jdms

Not gonna lie I prefer the interior of the Audi to the BMW. Natural upgrade would have been an S4, but it didn't give me a wow unlike the M3.

Same here, not sure if the M3 will still most of the modding attention that my S2000 desperately needs lol.

I won't sell my S2000, it was my first car I've bought with my own money. I've owned it coming up to 12 years, this is truly my baby. She's not even halfway done yet

Same feeling as you. I loved the Audi interior. The leather was much softer on my sport seats than the M3.

I test drove an S4 too. As much as I wanted to like "love" it, it just didn't feel as balanced as the e90 M3... not to mention it felt so damn heavy.

Had a stage 2 S4 with about 400whp and torque was overwhelming .Did quite a lot on the car including suspension and brakes.
Never in my mind that I would buy an E92 M3 until one day when I drive my buddy's car.
The driving engagement, well balanced chassis and not to mention the intoxicating V8. The car is very composed in corners, also at high speed, and this is stock. I also didn't have so drive fast to enjoy the ride. I was sold.

I love my A4 Sport Seats, i drove my buddies E92 coupe and just felt a little hard but you're talking about sports car vs wagon cruiser.

This i love to hear, I kinda was second guessing myself on giving the S4 a try since I loved my avant so much. But modded vs stock and you get a bigger smile with the M, I know I'll be satisfied with the M.
