Spotify Artist List

Been trying to wrap my head around Spotify integration. I have an up to date iPhone 7 and hundreds of artists showing up in my app. In-car, only 4 artists show up in my library. All songs appear to show up, however. Anyone have experience with getting iDrive Spotify to "sync" correctly?

I just use it through my bluetooth and all my playlists work fine.
