Ive had the car for almost a year -- took it to the dealership.

They said they need to order some part for the radio, nothing to do with wiring.

Didnt really explain what was wrong with the car, as i went to pick it up my rep left for the day.

Is it connecting to your phone?

I was driving the other day and the radio suddenly stopped working - realized it connected to my phone.

Have you had the windows tinted recently? The am/fm aerials are on the back glass and one of the wires could be cut if a tint guy wasn't paying attention. The aerial diversity is under the black cover where the 3rd brake light is. You can try popping that off and seeing if everything is plugged in, and also the c pillar trims as well to check for any breaks in the wiring on the sides of the glass. Other then that, you should probably just take it to the dealer so they can do actual diagnosis, not speculation over the internet.

I had this issue on my previously owned F30 and had to replace the windscreen. Problem was solved thereafter.
