UV Leather Protectant help

Hi All

At the moment, I find I am parking my car outdoors (my role with work doesnt allow for undercover parking) with a temperature of 120.2 degrees (yes 49 deg Celsius) here down under

I have windshield sun shades and side blinds etc....

I cant help feel for the merino leather.... it gets so soft....and in a few years cracking may be evident sooner than later

would you be able to fire away with your suggestions, for products, that would just help the internal leather a tad ??

thanks guys...

Same summer heat problem in Southern Europe, I simply spread a light colored bath towel over the seats.

Leather products may distil or decompose to unknown compounds at those temperatures!

Don't over apply any dressing ... the key is to keep the surface somewhat moist in the baking oven that is your car. I recommend Swissvax products. You can also mist the surface lightly with clean water and wipe it with a clean terry cloth every so often.

Or...

Cover all windows.

Buy a roll of Aluminized Bubble Wrap (insulation)

https://www.amazon.com/Reflectix-BP4...il+bubble+wrap

Cut to fit all windows. Windshield, six side windows, and rear.

I own no garage queens. If it's in my driveway, it's been ridden hard and put away wet. ...and now, with a light crust of Maine road salt.
