Black 666 Wheels

Are the new black 666 wheels a dark gloss black or more of a gun-metal color. I cant tell from the new LCI pics.

Pics appreciated if you have them. I couldn't find any in the search.

From this picture it looks like gloss black

The optional 'Black 666 M' wheels are actually two tone.

Reference option 2CQ.

Where the original is gun metal/orbit grey or whatever you want to call it, as calling 437m and 666m Silver is a disservice, an area of the wheel is painted gloss black, just like the 437m blacks are.

The Silver highlights that are on the original 666m (and 437m) remain silver on both the Black 437m and 666m (and even the orange 666m).

As mentioned in an earlier post, seems as though the 666m black, opposed to being a full gloss-black, are in fact two-tone with black inlays and chrome black face. The first picture is from the 2018 Canadian Order guide. The other three are from the bmw.lu configurator site.

Can anybody who has seen these in the flesh confirm?

Thanks for the replies.

They do look two toned from the configurator pics, much better than just all black, which i think robs them of some of the visual dimensions..

Cant wait to see them in the "flesh"

Agree on all black. Needs the contrast, including 437m as well.

Not the the configurator is 100% accurate (heck - compare a TB M3 to a TB M4 - they look like different colors) but the 666 Black just look like 666 Silver with a week's worth of brake dust.
