Speedometer Coding

I see that this is a common issue where the analog and digital (HUD) is off by 3-5 mph. But I've yet to find a good answer on how to correct the calibration.

So far, I've seen a lot of references to BC_DIGITAL_V_KORREKTUR and BC_V_KORREKTUR but no definitive instructions on what needs to be changed. Any help or explanation would be extremely helpful. Thanks in advance!

On the E9x M3, I believe it was the case that you could set one of those settings to correct the digital speedometer. However, I don't think I ever found a way to correct the analog one. Let me know if that doesn't jive with what you're seeing and I'll look closer at my E9x M3 settings files.

Alternatively, maybe someone can corroborate what I'm remembering. Good luck!

I just noticed that I have BC_V_KORREKTUR as an option, but not BC_DIGITAL_V_KORREKTUR. it's not in the KOMBI CAFD file.

I changed it to nicht_activ, so we'll see what happens...

If memory serves me right, it was not possible to correct the analog speedometer on the E9x platform.

Even when prior modules had both settings, changing both only resulted in one being correct. The other was still biased, incorrect. Might be the same in the new platform; might be different.

I've changed it to nicht_activ, but saw no change in either speedometer readings - still off by 2 MPH @ 80MPH per Waze GPS. Did you observe anything different?

I fixed a portion of my speedometer error by installing taller tires
