Can you get a CD stacker bypass plug?
Hi All,
I tried to remove my CD stacker from the boot today as it does not load or play CD's and I dont need it anyway. My preference is to just remove it. After disconnecting the only plug and removing, there is now no tone/sound available at all through any speakers for radio, phone etc. The display just says no tone available. I then installed again and the tone/sound works OK. Does anyone know if I can easily obtain a CD bypass plug? Or, can it be coded out? As mentioned Id prefer to remove it from the vehicle. Cheers |

Can you take a picture of the plug? If it has a MOST connector on it, you'll certainly need to terminate it, or the devices in its ring will not connect correctly.

Sorry, I just saw this reply. That is the MOST loop. You need a MOST Terminator (google, they're easily available). This will restore the connection, as the missing connector prevents devices in the chain from connecting back.
