My impressions of the E90 M3
Took my 335 in for 15k service. Got to examine the E90 M3 up close and personal. My dealer has a beautiful Jerez black w/ fox red. Nice combination, much more laid back and subtle than I would have guessed. Loaded: everything from MPack, 19", premium, cold, sunroof, stereo, ... to the tune of 69k MSRP. Which is what the dealer will sell it for -- they never mark up over sticker. So for anyone looking for a loaded E90 M3, here is a perfect one without paying any dealer mark-up. Anyway, I reeeally like it, the seats are fantastic, everything seems perfectly fitted. If I could justify the cost I would get one in a snap. I'll wait and reserve judgment, but for now I think it's (E9x M) a classic, one of the best M3s ever.

I also test drove a JB E90 M3 a few weeks ago, and have fallen helplessly in lust with it. The M3 transforms the E90 into an entirely different beast. Very impressed, going back for a drive in the E92 M3 next.
Lives up to the name Ultimate Driving Machine. Oh, and here is my impression of the E90 M3: Brrrrrrrrrrrr, bbRRRRRRRRR, bbbbbRRRRRRRRR!!!!, bbbbbRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!R!!! |

I lust after that thing too on paper. But the gas guzzler tax turns me off.....doesn't the Z06 not even get hit with that? I'll just keep smiling for now when I see the mpg computer on the 335 displaying 33.6, such a joke but that's what it said after resetting after a fill-up for a 60 mph stretch on a state highway....
