Radio Issue - High Pitched Noise
Very high pitch tone like radio interference inside cabin when coasting at freeway speed. Pressing throttle in just a little will make sound go away. Letting up and sound comes back. Very high frequency.
Anyone with experience or info on cause/solution? Would be very helpful to have some insight when I take it in again tomorrow. Thanks! |

maybe it has something to do with the ASD. you can try unplugging the module in the trunk or code it off.
i coded mine off. on rare occasion i sometimes do hear a high pitch radio sound but it is not related to throttle. it may happen when i connect my phone via usb or bluetooth but it goes away and i am not bothered by it. it is hard to replicate the noise so i can't pinpoint it a certain action or source. |

It happens to me when letting completely off the throttle on freeway and goes away as soon as I slightly depress throttle again. Can do it over and over.
Sounds about the same as a 4th grade high pitch hearing test, so most people probably wouldn't even notice. I did wonder if my bluetooth connection to phone had anything to do with it. How do you unplug the ASD in the trunk? I could try that. Thanks! |
