so while I waited for my new M to be prepped someone PM'ed and said that if I thought the wait in general was bad, see what happens the night before...

That night is tonight.

Say a small, albeit, selfish prayer for the installer of the clear bra tomorrow morning. Anything less than perfect and I'll be forced to keep torturing myself. May his hands cut and fit the film with falcon-like precision. May his squeegee matte-out even the most microscopic of air bubbles. May the fitment of the film be so precise as to make me mad that they forgot to put it on.

After you're done, say another prayer asking for forgiveness for being so selfish and materialistic.

hope for the best; expect the worst. i've had 3 clear bras done so far and none of them are perfect. also since the M3 is brand new, installers have very little or no experierence at all with this car - it is a learning process for them as well.

also if your installer is using the Proform hood kit, tell them it may not be long enough to wrap around the front edge.

great color combo, same as mine.

Been interacting with the dealership all day. Probably 6 times since this morning. Apparently it took 6 hours for the bra install - hmmm...not sure if I should be worried. So they said they were done at 5pm, "When can you come?" "About an hour." At this point I had the sensation to pee on myself in eager anticipation of delivery. A little scared, a lot excited - like going on a new date with a girl (although since being married this hasn't happened in 9 years...anyhow, that's for another thread). Then I got an email saying that since the install took so long they couldn't finish the prep. So then it happened, I peed - but not out of excitement. haha

Well, actually that's fine, because if the car wasn't damn-perfect, I wouldn't take it anyway.

But now I have to re-live the agony of "the night before" ALL OVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where did I leave that bottle?

You should have walked in there and demanded your car.

Oh, so you've hired the bra guy that installs duct tape all over the front of your car. Silver duct tape looks great with a red car. Be sure to take pics....he he

Your patience in the face of such adversity is a example to us all! My thoughts are with you. I am a wreck and I just got my order in this week. I will be institutionalized by the time I am 1 day out. And a delay... I shudder to think about it.
