DSC and Brake Light ON - Alignment Knock Out?
I had something really strange happen. I was driving on the hwy about 70 mph and next thing you know, I noticed my car's alignment was completely out of whack. I may have hit a bump but I don't really recall. The wheel now points a 1/4 turn to the left when going straight and the DSC and Brake lights are consistently on. In addition the car drives all over the place, it is super wobbly and wallowy. Is is possible, I hit a bump and completely threw the alignment out? But then, what would cause the lights to come on? Wheel speed sensor got damaged? I read no codes in the DME.
Thanks Again |

Hard for anyone to determine your problem without seeing the car. Best to have a dealer or independent inspect the car and interrogate the computer modules.
If you hit something hard enough to knock the alignment out and sever a sensor wire, you could get DSC and brake light warnings on the dash. |

open and shut case with this one... hit a slight bump, rear control arms loosened up and threw alignment out of whack... realignment and tightening up fixed everything...
be wary if u have aftermarket control arms... the megan racing ones transfer a lot of stress into the components and driving over rough surfaces could easily mess your alignment up
